1992
Establishment of Gabinvest – Gerhard Blenk EOOD company

On 4th August 1992 Gerhard Blenk launched business with four assistants on an area of 20 square meters. They manufactured components for hunting rifles of the Blaser company.

1999
Unveiling of a new production hall

The production capacity was extended through the introduction of new makes. The first machine with a central processing unit was set into operation.

2000
Thomas Ortmeier und Michael Lüke, Bernhard Knöbel

Gerhard Blenk got interested in other projects and sold his plants to SIG, Switzerland. Gabinvest was one of the companies taken over by Thomas Ortmeier und Michael Lüke. One year later Bernard Knöbel was recruited as Manager of the leading producer of hunting rifles, Premium Blaser, and of the whole Hunting Group.

2004
Enlargement

The production structures were extended. Processing of metal components for the Blaser hunting rifles was also launched. Gabinvest began production of components for the traditional hunting rifle manufacturer, Sauer & Sohn.

2011
Extension of production range

Components for SIG Sauer, leader on the world market, were manufactured for the first time. Decorative exhibition stands were made for Swarowski Optik. Manufacturing of metal components for Blaser was optimized and complemented with new makes. Investments were made in new machines and facilities. High targets for quality and precision of supplies have been lastingly attained and guaranteed.

2013
New production for CNC components for Sig Sauer

A newly built second structure comes into function, which specializes in the manufacturing and treatment of metal components.

2015
New production of components for air guns

Third plant was built which is specialized in manufacturing and processing of components for air guns.

2016
New CNC-machine for wood processing

Purchase and commissioning of a new, modern, precise 5-axis-CNC-machine for processing wood.
